Tourism is the largest industry in Nepal; The largest source of foreign exchange and revenue. Possessing * of the 10 highest mountains in the world, Nepal is the hot spot destination for mountaineers, rock climbers and people seeking adventures. The Hindu and Buddhist heritage of Nepal,  and its cold weather are also strong attractions.
Nepal, officially the federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, is a landlocked country in south Asia and the worlds youngest republic. It is bordered to the north by the peoples republic of China, and to the south, east and west by the republic of India. With an area of 147,181 square kilometers (56827 sq mi) and a population of approximately 30 million. Kathmandu is the nations capital and the country's largest metropolitan city.
the kingdom of Nepal is bounded on the Tibet Region of the people's Republic of China, on the east by Sikkim and West Bengal and on the south and west by the Indian states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Nepal civilization stretches back thousands of of years before the birth of Christ. As the popular ledgend goes, the original settlers of the Kathmandu Valley were the Kirantis, who were later succeeded by the Lichhavis who, in turn, were succeeded by the Mallas. In 1769 the shah dynasty ascended the throne of the unified Kingdom. Now it is a republican country.
Nepal is a copuntry of amazing extremes. There is the worlds highest mountain, Everest. It extends over 2400 kms as a vast south facing arc between the indus and Bramhaputra rivers with Nanga Parbat (8125 m) and Namche Barwa (7755m) as its terminal high points. Fully a third or 800 KMS of its central section traverses through Nepal and is known as Nepal Himalaya. of the 31 prominent Himalayas peaks over 7600 meters, 11 are in Nepal Himalayas including out of the worlds highest giants. these are Sagarmatha( 8848 m) kanchanjunga (8516 m) Lho Tse (8516), Makalu (8463 m) , Cho Oyu (8201 m) , Dhoulagiri (8167 m) Manaslu (8163 m) and Annapurna (8091 m) kathmandu Valley covers an area of 218 sq miles. It is situated at 4423 ft above sea level.

Music of Nepal refers to the various musical genres of Nepal. With more than fifty ethnicity, the music of this country is highly dispersed phenomenon. Although genres like pop, rock, folk, and classical music exist, a huge number of such genres are yet to be cataloged. Many musical bands exists in Nepal, with a huge number in Kathmandu- most of the recent ones focused in pop and rock. Rap has been known to emerge on the charts from time to time. The modern history is very short one. At times when big and private music companies were mushrooming in the western cities, Kathmandu got its first radio station, radio Nepal in the year 1952. Since the Radio Nepal has expanded to become the dominant radio station all over the country, which helped in the uprising of many key figures in the field, notably Shiva Shankar, Natikaji, Narayan Gopal, Arun Thapa Magar (also known as Arun Thapa),  Dharmaraj Thapa, Jhalak Man Gandharva, and in the female Arene Koili Devi Mathema, tara Devi, Aruna Lama. Those music genres which have roots in Nepal can be considered as indigenous Nepalese music. In Nepal there are three different kinds of music. Among them one cultural type of song is called dohori. Dohori is Nepali Folk song.  This is Unique type of song in the world.
